Vendor Spotlight: Krafty Kash Designs

Kraftykash grew from a love of vintage and a nostalgia dating back to childhood in rural Nebraska. Grandma’s house always begged an adventure, full of old toys, furniture, buckets, a shop full of tools, or bookcase full of old books.

As the years went by, owner Kashoan Ward grew more fond of these vintage treasures, especially after receiving several boxes of old books from Great Grandma’s bookcase. Beneath the dust was a 1932 Webster’s dictionary that led to the creation of Kraftykash’s first necklace nearly 13 years ago, but it wasn’t until 2007 that Kashoan started creating unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry for her daughter’s school teachers.

What started as a hand-made gift quickly grew to a home-based business. Teachers, friends, and friends of friends were emailing orders. It wasn’t long before we opened an etsy shop and began expanding our business, both online and at vintage fairs/craft shows.

We are looking forward to having KraftyKash Designs as one of our featured vendors at our Fake it of Make it event at Lincoln Craft Studio on April 27th from 4pm-8pm. You can RSVP for the event here
