Our Resident Screenprinter, Joyce

I thought maybe I'd do some introductions. Joyce has been working at Lincoln Craft Studio since day one.

Joyce graduated from UNL with her Master's of Fine Arts in 2016. Her art prints are so beautiful. Her work has been described as an abstract dialogue with personal narratives.

You may also recognize Joyce from her work at the Haymarket Farmer's Markets. She sets up her press and prints t-shirts for the masses most Saturdays in the summer. I just can't get enough of her multiple Abe Lincoln designs. Abe riding a bike! Abe playing the saxophone! He's a real renaissance man.

Joyce teaches all of our screenprinting classes at the studio and is available for private lessons as well. In April, we've got a 4 week course that includes an advanced 4 color printing session. If you've ever thought about learning to print your own shirts or posters, this is the class for you! Upon completion of the class, you can use the studio equipment any time (small fee applies). It's great for those of us with no space in our homes or extra money to invest in new equipment. You can register for April's class here
